Oregon SAR Kills another one.
Molalla Police Department and Oregon Search and Rescue along with Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office allowed an old woman to die.
Another FUBAR notched under their belts.
Shame on them. Hopefully some day these agencies will put their fricken head out of their asses.
“The skeletal remains of a woman missing since 2007 were found by a 4-year-old boy while looking for a lost family cat, police said. Molalla officers said the remains of 75-year-old Ruby Larson were discovered in an undeveloped subdivision Thursday. Police believe last year's chemical treatment of blackberry bushes made the remains visible the boy and his parents.
Three years ago, Larson reportedly walked away from Pheasant Point assisted-living facility, promoting a three-day search of Molalla and the surrounding area. Police said Larson was reported to have suffered from Alzheimer's at the time of her disappearance.
Although the Clackamas County Medical Examiner's report is still pending, officers said they felt confident to identity the remains as Larson”.
During the search the family initially contacted International K9 Search and Rescue Services asking for our help. But they were told by MOLALLA Police dept. "not to use us as we were not Team Players and the Clack. Co. S.O. SAR teams had already searched and found nothing".
It’s pretty fricken bad when a 4 year old boy can find the victim’s remains ¼ mile from the Point Last Seen and the OSSA K9 tracking, air scenting, trailing certified teams can’t find crap again.
Chalk up another innocent person killed by politics.
It’s my position that if we had been allowed in the search on the first night, we could have saved this woman life.
Shame on the family for not bringing us in privately when they had the chance. Shame on MPD and CCSO for doing suched a $*%CKED Up search as they always do.
